The Magic of Learning ScienceExplorers program is designed to spark students' excitement in science by giving them the freedom to get their hands wet, slimy and dirty doing real science.

In our partnership with the I Have a Dream Foundation (IHDF), each semester Dreamers are introduced to 4 topics or "Explorations" during their regular after school meetings. Each Exploration consists of:

	A DGLD science educator will visit the IHDF site to introduce the Exploration with thought provoking instruction and experiments.
	Dreamers will continue to delve deeper into the Exploration topic through a project. This will range from building an ant farm to study bugs, to making root beer as a food scientist.
	Each Exploration concludes with a field trip, visitor or other special event related to the topic.
